Pamela Wineman, Ph.D.

Dr. Pamela Wineman obtained her bachelor’s degree in public relations/communications from Syracuse University. Following college, Dr. Wineman spent time working for inner city schools through the AmeriCorps program before pursuing a master’s degree in Child Development from Tufts University. She completed her graduate education, earning a Ph.D. from the combined Counseling/School Psychology program at Northeastern University.

Dr. Pam has worked in a variety of clinical settings including therapeutic day and residential schools, psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient clinics in addition to training in pediatric psychology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital. She completed her pre-doctoral APA internship and postdoctoral work at South Shore Mental Health where she focused on assessment and evaluation in addition to therapy with children, adolescents, and families. At South Shore Mental Health, she was a member of the training committee where she supervised doctoral and postdoctoral psychology interns in testing and therapy and led seminars.

Andrew Wineman, Psy.D.

Dr. Andrew Wineman obtained his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University. Following college, Dr. Wineman spent time working in therapeutic and public school settings before pursuing his master’s and doctoral degrees in psychology from William James College (previously known as the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology). He graduated with a specialization in child and family therapy.

Dr. Andrew’s work has spanned educational and clinic settings, including therapeutic and residential schools, and public school environments. Prior to starting his own practice, he spent several years working at a community-based mental health clinic focusing on the treatment of children and families who have experienced complex trauma. Dr. Andrew utilizes an eclectic treatment approach which draws primarily from relational and attachment-based theories. Additionally, he infuses cognitive behavioral techniques and solution-focused strategies into his work. Dr. Andrew works individually with children, adolescents, and adults. He also conducts parent guidance/coaching as well as family therapy sessions when appropriate.
